It looks like Gang Beasts will come to Wii U if its developer, Boneloaf, gets a Wii U devkit this year. Set in the fictional metropolis of Beef City, Gang Beasts is a multiplayer party title with gelatinous characters, melee fight sequences and hazardous environments. Players can grab, push, pull, punch and throw their friends from wrestling rings, speeding trucks and suspended platforms.

I remember Smosh playing this. Doesn’t seem like it’d be too fun as a single-player thing, but since the Wii U can clearly support 8 Players in Smash, I imagine it should have no problem doing so with this as well. And THAT would be a beautiful party game. Now hopefully it won’t be Digital Only….

Speaking of which nintendo has a free game to download on the eshop for the wii u. Dont remember the name but its a card based game set in the old folklore or someshit like that. Give it a try

I’ll play it. It does seem any development company can get a Wii U dev kit with Nintendo’s whole approach towards indies. It would be good to see some more Double Fine published games on Wii U. We did get a decent Costume Quest 2
