Headless Bowser Amiibo Spotted

Wow, these defective Amiibo figures seem to be getting slightly out of hand. If this headless Bowser Amiibo is genuine then it has to be possibly the best one we’ve seen yet. It looks like something that wouldn’t seem out-of-place in something like Luigi’s Mansion. I’m not sure if the owner intends to put it on eBay, but it could fetch a pretty penny.

Thanks, Rainter

    1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

And then the primitive apes say Mario is for kids only…

He just ripped Bowser’s head off…

        1. No its not. Its purposely done so they make money off it. I love how the author to these articles keeps saying “defected” when its purposely done….

  1. So why are people paying a fortune on defects? You can just cut the head off a regular Bowser Amiibo and call it a defect. In fact that’s what he obviously did

      1. NA amiibo don’t come with manuals, so there is still a sliver of credibility. Yes, NA has seen a few Bowser trickle out of TRU along with Toon Link and Sheik. Your logic = broken

    1. At first defects were extra arms or swords but now people are pulling the parts off their amiibo and claiming they came that way, I.e. “fake” defects

  2. My friend at Nintendo said they been releasing all these defects just to read about how people think they’re valuable haha they’re surprised how dumb people are and willing to pay so much for them

  3. sasori obinna: the puppet master

has anyone even bought any of these defected amiibo’s. seriously nobody would just spend 2k for a nfc toy,

  4. I truly believe that people are doing this to the amiibo themselves. I have never seen a single factory error amiibo in stores. The closest I’ve seen to a factory error amiibo is amiibos that are turned sideways in the packaging, or completely fallen out from the center and are loose in the package. I seen 3 Marios this way at Wal-Mart, and one Yoshi.

  5. Yeah been checking our new stocks we get. None out of the ordinary or defective. I just walked passed some regs we have had. Gotta get Diddy Kong!
