Could The Second Character In Project Ukulele Be A Macaw?

Playtonic are devious and have yet to officially reveal the two main characters featured in their forthcoming project Project Ukulele. Someone pointed out to me on Twitter that the second character could be a Macaw based on the art assets the company put out yesterday which apparently shows the two main characters hiding in shrubbery. They later took them out. I guess we won’t know for sure until Playtonic lift the lid on what they’re cooking up.

  1. The second character could be a plant. That would be a hilarious turn of events.

But, yeah, I don’t even see the bird in that shot. All I see is a clown with black face paint and a creepy yellow wig looking strait ahead. What are the features supposed to be?

    1. If it were an iguana, it would have a lot more spiky parts of it’s body, but the skin of the lizard creature is smooth. So I would lean more towards gecko. Maybe as a gecko, you can change colors and blend in with the environment?

But, based on the coloring, yellow-ish/orange or red, it could very well be a common salamander or newt.

  2. A “McKaw” sounds like what McDonald’s will be forced to make sometime in the future when both real beef and beef-like products become scarce.

      1. Sorry guys, looks like McDonald’s was on my mind yesterday! But, it’s still great to be recognized!

  3. No, whatever it is, it has an orange beak. From the picture of the eyes, you can kinda make out an orange beak.

  4. I think it’s kind of weird to have lizard and a… Bird. I know they’re going for a Banjo-Kazooie type dynamic, but birds eat lizards. Like, would you run around and go adventuring with a hungry shark on your back?

    1. Well, the lizard is bigger than the bird. Also, Banjo is a bear and I’m sure a bird wouldn’t want to land on a bear’s back, because bears eat birds.

So, if they weren’t concerned about Banjo eating Kazooie, I’m sure they aren’t worried about the bird eating the lizard.

  5. jtz Igbo Tribe and Decedent of Gad.

Finally a developer to make a 3D platformer and it doesn’t look like it has to obey the laws of nature. That’s just how I like it.

Why didn’t Nintendo think to buy this so it can be an exclusive to Wii zu while it is in R&D? BUT NINTENDO IS STUPID.
