I didn’t even watch it. I have no idea why IGN always have trouble pronouncing stuff right specifically when they’re doing rewind videos. I feel that Game Xplain did a MUCH better job at explaining the game then IGN… no pun intended.
The personalities are completely different but the red head looks a lot like Seth from the sacred stones. The hair, the eyes, the build and the class all match up more or less.
Well, it’s mostly speculation, but gamexplain does a very good job at it.
I just watched the gamexplain video. It is impressive that they can make over 26 minutes of explanation for a trailer less than 2 minutes long.

General consensus, Gamexplain is better than IGN at Analysis videos on games. I agree, they like to point out even the smallest of details and I really like that.
IGN video isn’t bad but Gamexplain is all another story, those guys work really hard on every video they put on the channel : D
So yeah, the synopsis is that we all like GX and you can keep that dirty IGN shit away from us.

While I agree that Gamexplain usually goes more in depth than IGN with their trailer analysis videos, it’s worth watching both videos to get the full picture of what’s happening in this crossover; the commentators in the IGN video certainly know their Shin Megami Tensei history, while Gamexplain touches on the Fire Emblem aspects more than not. Just something to note.
Honestly, this game looks absolutely NOTHING like what I thought a SMT x FE game would look like, but it looks interesting to me none the less. I’m actually a little hyped for it.
I personally prefer Gamexplain’s take on how they perform their analysis’ however I’ll give IGN’s rewind theatre a try. Always good to grab more than one perspective. The only difference there will be is well, I won’t check out the comment section after the video.
