If you’re into collecting Amiibo, you’ll know just how difficult it is to get your hands on the more popular ones that sell out immediately, and essentially become a myth. But they are real, and you’ll be pleased to know that apparently, the more rare Amiibo are being reproduced over Summer and released throughout Europe. These include Villager, Marth, Little Mac and Captain Falcon, which are also getting restocked in Japan.
This comes from a German customer service representative who was contacted by an Amiibo collector, concerning how quickly the last wave sold out. Nintendo of America are already reproducing Marth for the Summer throughout the US, but it’s hopeful that they’ll follow suit and reproduce other rare Amiibo as well. Which Amiibo are you hoping to add to your collection?
We will reproduce several amiibo, which have been sold out after only a few hours. This will take some time. We sold our 5.7 million amiibo worldwide, which exceeded our expectations. This is also a reason that our production is delayed.

Thanks man, I think I will. I was able to preorder wave 4B (jigglypuff, greninja) and 5A (Ganondorf, Dark Pit, Palutena and ZS Samus) from the UK store within the 15 minutes they were in stock so if I keep my wits about me I should get these 3 for my collection (and I actually use btw). Screw keeping them in the box, they’re toys and they’re meant to be played with/used.

I’ve seriously lost all interest in Amiibos. Too difficult to find, expensive up selling by scalpers. I’m good. I have a couple Amiibos that I like. I have no desire to wait in line for a preorder that is sold out, system crashed, or stay up all night for a preoder that can be cancelled the next day. I’m sure in a couple years these things will be floating around bargin bins begging to be sold.

When its discontinued, its reported as News, but if a Nintendo Customer service rep says what the company line has been all along, its a rumor. Yes, there will be more being restocked of what is rare, its not a rumor, unless its called limited, its going to get more stock.
I really want them to stock Rosalina. It would make me happy and the a-hole that bought most of them mad. :3

I want Marth, gold and silver Mario, and all upcoming waves. Wave 4 is the first wave where I haven’t even had a chance to pre-order. I REALLY want Ness! Why (of all amiibo) did he have to be a Gamestop exclusive?
Australia got sonic, meta knight, marth and Ike restocked yesterday ( although the latter two are sold out already)
