Nintendo of Canada are having a huge celebration of Splatoon over Summer with participating Yogurtys and Yogen Früz stores, and it looks delicious. From the 1st June to September the 8th, in select Yogurty stores you will be able to get three special Splatoon flavours: the Squidsicle sorbet, Inkberry froyo, and splat the two together to make Squid Ink. Yogen Fruz stores are offering ink bubbles filled with mango or strawberry flavoured juice to put a Splatoon twist on your frozen yogurt. Check out the flavours in the gallery below!
There are chances to win Splatoon prizes if you share your inky delights over twitter with the hashtags: #SplatYourFroyo and #Splatoon for Yogurtys or #InkYourFruz and #Splatoon for Yogen Früz. And to kick off the celebration, there will be a special event held on Saturday, May 30 at the Yogurty’s at 527 Bloor St W., Toronto from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., where the first 100 people to play Splatoon will get a free cup of frozen yogurt and toppings. Finally, you can get the chance to play Splatoon from 15th June at these stores:

They are putting so much time and resources into this game… It’s just not that great…yet. It is half-assed. It can be great though. I have thought up a few ideas that would transform this game into greatness, so I’m confident Nintendo should be able to come up with something at least.
Mind if I hear these ideas? Er… Well, read?
Battle/Match customization, 1 vs 1and 2 vs 2 battles, more modes, and more maps. Some of these things will be included later on, but let’s not act like Splatoon is a 100% polished game. It’s definitely awesome, but it has some kinks here and there.
Don’t forget voice chat for those of us that might actually want to socialize with people while playing the game & don’t want to have to use a bunch of external things like smartphones & computers.
I wanted to try that whole debate so that’s why I left VC out, but yeah that too. X3
Its actually super easy to make ice cream that would probably be better than this. I’m not big on yogurt, there’s nothing wrong with it I just prefer the creamyness of ice cream.

Im not sure if this is mynintendonews worthy enough but, at the moment Walmart ( at least the one im at now) has Nintendo 3DS xl in Red, Blue and Black on rollback for $159.96. Not a bad chunk off if you need a new one or want to upgrade.
