Time flies when you’re having fun! Super Mario Bros was first released on Nintendo’s NES system in 1985, 30 years ago. As part of the celebration, Nintendo has pulled the curtains on their Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary website.
“Thanks to all the love and support from fans, Mario has been in many more games since that release,” a welcome message reads. “We’re making big plans to show our appreciation and celebrate the 30th anniversary. Stay tuned to the site for information and announcements.”
Besides that message, the website offers a visual history of Mario’s journeys through the Mushroom Kingdom, showcases the upcoming Mario Maker for Wii U, and presents a special movie many have already seen last year. E3 is still weeks away, and there’s already been a ton of good stuff revealed! Let’s keep the momentum going!

Cool, in celebration release Super Mario World for 3ds.
We had Xenoblade Chronicles for the N3DS, Super Mario Galaxy when?
Or I would take an HD Super Mario Galaxy Trilogy for Wii U…
A guy can dream… right?
Seems like Nintendo fans do a lot of dreaming.
Why dream, when you can settle for mediocrity like MSony fans.
Has anybody else noticed that Nintendo’s characters seem to get younger looking throughout the years instead of older? Just about every character looked older in the past. Mario, Peach, Yoshi etc. Mario actually looked a bit more like Waluigi back in Donkey Kong (when he was known as Jumpman). Just without the idiotic pink nose and legs that looks like he was riding a horse all day.
Hope they do announced something big for Mario at E3. Surprisingly this year isn’t as active as the Year of Luigi
It’s a me Mario, Ima number one.

Come on everybody, you know you want to read it.
I’m 37. Are you older than THAT? And I LOVE classic 2D games (as well as modern 3D). In fact, I represent them. I’m old-school. And you have a weird mother fetish. It’s freaky.
93 clearly ain’t your IQ, kid.

Late news.
I want a Wii U game that’s jam packed with as many Mario games as they can fit on a disc. As an added bonus, give them all improved HD graphics. This would be the perfect way to celebrate Mario’s 30th Anniversary.
