Nobody is immune to sickness, not even the powerful Nintendo CEO, Satoru Iwata. Last year in June, Iwata underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his bile duct. The surgery was responsible for his absence at E3 last year.
So, in preparation of E3 this year (which he too, is not attending), Iwata felt it was time to update his Mii to reflect his new ‘look’. He sent a picture of his Mii along with a tweet that more or less translates into this: “I have become a little slim because of the surgery for my disease last June. My body weight hasn’t changed since being discharged, so I decided to adjust my official Mii. Thank you. #Iwatter”
Sickness is never a cool thing. But hey, look at the bright side — he’s going to look great for Summer!
