Just Dance 2016 Announced For Wii U

We all knew it was coming and today Ubisoft officially confirmed that Just Dance 2016 will be arriving on the Wii U. We may be missing out on several other games, but at least we’ve got the Just Dance series, right? The game will be coming to the Wii U this October and will no doubt perform well. Ubisoft also announced the Just Dance Streaming Service to get new songs all year-long for your console.

    1. “We still have those great, big third-party partners like Ubisoft who continue to invest in our platforms,” Trepanier told Alphabeatic. “In the next few weeks at E3 you’ll be hearing about more big third-party partnerships.”

  1. Hahahaha gotta love sickr’s optimism, “We may be missing out on several other games, but at least we’ve got the Just Dance series, right?” like if that were a good thing…

  2. Guy’s i can’t wait Nintendo’s E3 direct. hopefull we all enjoy tommorrow.. E3 but so far nintendo is shining like domon fingers & only old school anime heads would get that.

  3. So, I watched Microsoft’s E3 and it wasn’t very impressive. They do have that one game from the creators of Metroid and Inafune as well as a Rare Collection Game. I also saw EA’s event and it was terribly boring. They showed us Battlefront though, which is, of course, a big game.

So far… no one has a great E3 conference. I am watching Ubisoft’s and it’s a bit more entertaining than the other two I watched. They actually look like they have some interesting and original looking games. Only thing, is can we trust them to deliver on their final products?

Overall, even if Nintendo has a mediocre Direct tomorrow, I believe they can EASILY take this E3. I all depends on how good Sony’s Direct is later tonight.

    1. Yea man I agree after seeing all the presentations today, Nintendo can take this one in the bag if Sony is as unimpressive as Microsoft’s presentation. EA was a joke, Ubisoft like you said was the only one slightly entertaining because of their titles they showed off that was more than just “HEY DO YOU LIKE SHOOTERS? HERE IS ANOTHER ONE” seemed a bit more original. I have to admit though No More Honor looked kinda interesting…that one kind of sparked my interest. Like you said it all depends can Ubisoft deliver the end product because if one thing has become very well known about Ubisoft. They can sure as hell make the hype for their new ips and big games…but actually getting the game is a whole other story.

Yup. With Ubisoft, you have to wait for reviews. Even then, you have to wait a month for patches to come out… Pretty sad.

        1. No. Only a few of them are also on PC. But that’s not the point. That press conference has convinced me 100 percent to buy an Xbox One. I need that Rare collection for Conker!!!

          1. SCREW EVERYTHING!

            SHENMUE 3!!!! SHENMUE 3!!!!!! SHENMUE 3!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, my favorite game of all time. I almost flipped my damn table over that crap.

In all seriousness. A lot of good games shown by pretty much everyone. Most excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian, ReCore and obviously Shenmue 3. Was loving those Devolver Digital games also, they looked like a lot of fun.

Oh yea, and that Xbox One controller is pretty damn awesome. I cannot deny it, definitely getting one of those for my PC.

None of their exclusives appeal to me in the slightest EXCEPT for the game Recors by the Metroid Prime devs and Inafune. I’m only interested in it because of the devs behind the game, though.

Everything else was… meh. The hololens, was interesting, but it’s just a larger version of the Nintendo 3DS’ AR cards, but mixed with “Minecraft…” a game I have playd a million times. It would get old so quickly.

    2. Microsoft and Bethesda killed it, Nintendo needs to bring their A game if they can “win” E3 as you say.

      1. Bethesda really only used violence to sell their conference but barely showed off any of the gameplay, probably to keep people from seeing the bad sides of the games.

Even Dishonoured 2 was nothing more than a CGI trailer…

        1. They showed plenty of gameplay, did you even watch the conference. The only deterrence from their presentation would be the small amount of games they showed, but what they showed was phenomenal. Also it is funny you point out dishonored 2, the only major release of theirs that showed a cinematic trailer. Aside from that they used plenty of time on each game with plenty of gameplay.

          1. Yep, Doom was pretty fucking violent and I love it, Bethesda’s demo of Fallout was pretty cool but again, it had a lot of violence.

Funny how you fangirls always damage control.

      1. Lol I didn’t bother watching Ubisoft’s conference. All I really care about is AC Syndicate and The Division. And I can just go watch those videos whenever I want. Can’t wait to see Sony’s in a few minutes though. :)

          1. I really enjoyed it. My favorite parts were Horizon and Final Fantasy 7 remake. I also enjoyed seeing Street Fighter V! But, in my honest opinion, I liked the Xbox conference more. After seeing Rise of The Tomb Raider, Rare Replay, Gears 4, and Forza 6, I knew it was going to be difficult for Sony to top that. But they were both still really good though. :)

            1. Yea, Microsoft did really well this year. The backwards compability thing was one of the things I thought was most impressive.
I definitely enjoyed Sony’s conference a lot too, especially The Last Guardian, Horizon, Uncharted and (of course) FFVII. But to be very honest, the fact that the FFVII remake will appear on at least one other platform as well kinda disappointed me – don’t get me wrong, I usually support the idea of games being available on multiple platforms, to make them accessible for as many people as possible, but FFVII is just something else. In my personal view, it simply belongs to Playstation platforms; making it available on other platforms, to me, just doesn’t feel right. I probably sound very selfish on that matter, which I won’t even deny, but yea, it just should be a PS4 exclusive imo. But oh well, can’t be helped, I suppose. :p Still extremely excited about it, words can’t even describe how much I’m looking forward to it. The feels I felt when the reveal came up – too good.
Also, they didn’t show Persona 5, which was a huge let-down for me, because it’s one of my most anticipated games and I was almost entirely sure that they would show it at E3. Maybe we’ll see it at Gamescom.
Either way, it was a pretty good show. :) Now looking forward to Square Enix and Nintendo’s conferences!

              1. Yeah. FF VII remake should’ve been a PS4 exclusive. And I wasn’t really expecting Persona 5 to show up anyway. All the good stuff Sony showed is coming next year. And Xbox is getting Halo 5 along with Tomb Raider and a few other games all before next year. And that isn’t good. Well… It is for me cause I plan on buying them all. Lol. But I mean in terms of competition. MS basically just took over the holidays. :/

                1. Pretty much. Sony was kinda lacking in terms of exclusives anyway, I feel like a lot of the 3rd-party games they showed were just timed-exclusives if at all, or they just had PS4-exclusive DLC, which, let’s be honest, isn’t a very convincing reason to go buy a PS4. So as you’ve said, the holiday season basically belongs to Microsoft it seems, in terms of software.

              2. Just in case you are not aware, Sony is a shareholder of Square-Enix. Sony at the time was a shareholder of Squaresoft, this happenned after the Final fantasy flop. So it’s not a surprise that sony got the most lucrative FF game of all the time as an exclusive. On the other hand we all critised Sony and MS for not having any exclusive and found their game in the other plateform or on PC, now they do what they had been criticised for (securing exclusives for their platform)

                1. Wait, I think I misunderstand what you said, lmao. Ignore my previous comment! :p
Either way, I just really wish the FFVII remake was exclusive to the PS4, would have been extremely helpful for Sony.

            1. Bomb’s been exploding since smash event, nintendo world championship.. the only reason they save that last nuke set for tomorrow was to not leave the rest looking bad at E3 With there fire crackers & self made confetti.

        1. Sony’s is actually really good but if you take away all the multiplatform games their Conference is pretty slim.

Horizon is one to keep an eye out though, that game looks amazing!

    3. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

      >>>The Electrons had to go full idiotic this time, it was wonderful watching that wreck unfold itself>>>

    1. Now…. Now…😉 no need to get immature. Anit that why u game on ya great ps4? Cause ya platform so much more mature with ya fancy graphics, & cinematic games, that like movie’s only last two hour’s. 😁

  4. fuck just dance, whoever this garbage? as many games from Ubisoft and released for PS4 and One and the Wii U remains that crap ..

    1. Looks like it’d be really terrible.
Gotta love that caned applause, seriously though I doubt that this is the NX because really, who’d want to play with that? It’s too blocky and the edges would hurt after only a few minutes of gameplay.

      Thank god this is fake.

  5. “Gee, this is one of the best Ubisoft titles ever to be announced for the Wii U. It is GOTY material here.”

    -Said no one ever.

    1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

      >>>At this point it would be an honour to NOT release this crap on the Wii U as it’s an insult right now>>>

  6. Why does Ubisoft keep releasing their garbage games like this on Wii U, yet they never release their better games anymore (like Assassin’s Creed)?

      1. I never liked Rayman. And I don’t really know what Beyond Good and Evil is, other than hearing that name before.

    1. How is it looking rough? The Wii U got Fatal Frame V, Devil’s Third, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Super Mario Maker, Yoshi’s Wooly World, Starfox Wii U and not to mention some unannounced titles so let’s wait before we prejudge okay?

      1. They mad bro.. Wii been wining E3 since skyward sword and thats been since idk when but i tell you this customer reviews dont lie

      2. I’d say it is, everyone has done very well so far in my opinion. Not to say Nintendo can’t do the same this year.

I just think picking a clear winner this time might be a bit harder than previous years. To each their own. I’m just enjoying all the new games being shown.

        1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

          >>>The Xbots has a rather stale conference but like I said in a previous thread, I’m growing some sort of respect for their leader Phil Spencer as he managed to avoid any technical problems during their entire conference unlike all previous ones>>>

          >>>That one is powerful according to my scans>>>

        2. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

          >>>We all know that the Electron Army and Ubisians lost it completely this time in terms of conference and games overall>>>

  7. Hahaha. Just dance bro’s. You ALL know you’re gonna bust a move once that bad boy makes the scene.

  8. ALSO! Super unrelated but related to Nintendo.

But I know for a fact that Nintendo “Add fund’s” cards have AR cards packed into them. I just saw a batch of 10$ cards that had a picture of mario on a card and popping out of the card. Tempting just to buy one to get one.

  9. In my opinion, Microsoft wiped the floor with Sony. They had better exclusives (looks like FFVII isn’t PS4 exclusive and Shenmue III is coming to PC) and they are making Xbox One backwards compatible. I’m also really intrigued by Keiji Inafune’s new game. Microsoft and Bethesda have had the best conferences so far. Sony did not deliver at all in terms of the exclusives I wanted. Plus it looks like a scarce year for them for first party games.

    1. Yeah I didnt actually watch either of them but from what I see…. Microsoft killed it. Sony, yeah seemed good but lets get real here where wete the fucking exclusives? Yeah some good stuff still but just shows how retardedly biased these fanboys are. Microsoft killed it in everything.

Now Nintendo……. Im never expecting much its always nice to be wrong though.

  10. LOL NINTENDO AND MICROSOFT CAN GET OUT OF THE CONSOLE MARKETING NOW

    SONY RAPED EVERYBODY

    SONY WINS EVERYTHING FOREVEEEERRRRRRR

  11. annibo irosas: master puppet

After the shit Ubi has talked, anyone who buys this crap for Wii U is a pathetic fool…

  12. I seen Just Dance 4 for Wii U (I think it was 4) at Hastings for only $8.00. A clear indication that this series is surely a pile of TURD!

  13. I hope everybody here ignore this gamw when it’s released. That’s the only way Ubi will stop making it.

I pity the devs under this title…

  14. Peanut Butter KitKat

“and will no doubt perform well”

Just Dance 2015 sold 500k on Wii U, according to Ubisoft reasoning behind Zomi U, that’s not very good.

But it’s dirt cheap shovelware so it’s easy to bring to the system.

  15. While I do understand that people would fell dissapointed with that…. there´s still a good fanbase for the Just Dance series. And the only platfom that still has an audience for JD are Nintendo platforms

  16. As I said, Ubisoft can shit out anything & still make some money off of it. Case in point… THIS GAME!!!
