Western Nintendo 3DS owners have been asking Square Enix for what seems like forever when we will finally get to play the Dragon Quest remakes that are currently available for purchase in Japan. The lucky Japanese have access to Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII remakes and western fans are clamouring for them to be released over here. All we’ve heard so far is that the company is currently “thinking about” releasing them here.
Horii also says that Square Enix are aware fans want the Nintendo 3DS remakes of Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII in the West, and that the company is “thinking about it”.

Please then localize them, DQ games are awesome, im sick of the shitty FF games with their lame metrosexuals. Oh and also put Taito to work on new Darius game for either 3DS or WiiU that stuff was awesome, who doesnt love blowing up space fishes with space aircraft!

Yes, because that solution is both easy and time efficient. Not to mention it will probably cost tons of money for a tutor or language program, because it’s virtually impossible for anyone to learn a language properly on their own.
I don’t even know a single Japanese person who lives in the same state as I do.
How does that solve the problem? If you think just importing a Japanese game will work, you aren’t aware of all the costs with that. First it requires the person to import the console (3DS) from Japan (keep in mind everything is region locked). Then would have to import the game(s).
I don’t know about you, but the cost to learn the language, importing a console, importing a game, is a LOT of money to solve this “problem”. Why should I have to have 2 consoles, one for each region desired?
