Funky Physics developer Petite Games‘ latest project, Christmas Adventure of Rocket Penguin, is coming soon to Wii U. The game will be available on November 5 via the Nintendo eShop. It is an endless runner set in a Christmas-themed world in which players are tasked with drawing lines for a penguin to slide on its belly, helping it stay above the ground and avoid obstacles while collecting gifts along the way. There are three primary modes in total: classic, hard and multiplayer.

Someone needs to make a really GOOD game based on Christmas. There’s never been a really good one to my knowledge. Only ones I know of are casual and childishly easy. Like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming To Town on Wii and DS. The best one is probably that old SNES game, Daze Before Christmas. Christmas deserves a better game.
