The Pokemon Company has released a Wii U Trailer for the highly anticipated Tekken cross-over, Pokken Tournament. The fast-paced video features a plethora of playable Pokemon, performing iconic moves such as Seismic Toss, Brave Bird, and Shadow Punch, in addition to the new “burst attacks”. Also shown are Lapras, Snivy, Frogadier, and Fenniken who each get a quick piece of the action as support Pokemon. The video ends with the appearance of a certain shadow Pokemon who is set to get their very own amiibo card. You can watch it all in the video below. Pokken Tournament launches on March 18, 2016 in Japan, with a Western release following sometime in Q2.

I don’t know much about this particular Pokemon game (other than the picture above), but I was always annoyed with every Pokemon related game because they always had generic, default trainers. I always wanted to play as Ash Ketchum, but never got to. Even in Smash Bros. Brawl, I was disgusted because the Pokemon trainer wasn’t Ash. I never could figure that out. Instead, I had to play as some dumb nobody that was just made up.
I think the only game I’m aware of that featured Ash Ketchum was Pokemon Puzzle League on the N64. I’m not acknowledging the early Game Boy games, because I never played those. I’m aware he was in Pokemon Yellow.
A lot of Pokemon fans hate ash so i think they rate have red in brawl then ash
Red is an absolute NOBODY to me. Don’t even know who the heck he is? And I’ll NEVER understand why people hate Ash? It’s a mystery. If so many people hate Ash, then why is the Pokémon anime still going, and still stars Ash?
ash is based on red not the other way around
Red is the boy you play in Pokemon red/blue he’s very famous by the pokemon fans he even got his own special pokemon anime called Pokemon origen ash is just the anime version of red ( a bad one ) and the reason that people hate ash is because he still the main protagonist people want to replace him with somebody else ( including me ) but the Pokemon company doesn’t listens to there fans
I imagine people hate Ash because he’s supposed to be this sort of role model in a sense after all these years, and when it comes down to it, he sucks as a trainer. He lacks the ability to do what any other person can achieve in the games, and I guess that just plasters him as a sort of consistent pokémon noob. He’s really not all he’s cracked up to be and the development and skills of trainers like Red in the manga hold a much higher stance over him to fans.

Ash is a product of the anime. He didn’t originate in the video games, so of course he won’t be in Smash since one of the rules of being able to be playable is a character has to have originated in a video game. Til a precedent is set that that rule no longer applies, Ash is a no go. But hopefully that is one rule they never break with Smash.
This game keeps getting better and graphically looks amazing and pokemon are good fighters very impressed this will be third best game on Wiiu and only on Nintendo platform at least we are getting brand new fighting game never seen before.
I know pikachu is saying “Pika” rapidly at 1:35, but I heard “muda muda muda muda muda, MUDA!” my first time watching this trailer.
I like fighting games and I like pokémon…..and this continues to not strike my fancy. Just seems a little bland I guess.
This game looks good and will get down the line when it releases
