Most of the things in the video are fairly well known, but there may be some pointers that you may had missed. One of the more well known things to take away from the Wii U development is the lack of knowledge that Nintendo had regarding Xbox Live and the PlayStation network while developing the online functionality for the console. 1. Well duh lol the wii u is nintendos own more messed up ps3 now of course the ps3 vastly improved over time and the wii u not so much and Sony learned a lot from their mistakes when making the ps4 and so hopefully nintendo learn a lot of their mistakes from the wii u when making if they already haven’t made the nx completely

      1. That’s not really a good way to tell. Nintendo’s last two consoles have been considerably weaker than their competitor’s consoles. The Wii for example, came out an entire year after the Xbox 360, and was a lot weaker than the 360. From what I’ve read, the Wii U is marginally stronger than the 360 and PS3; nothing too significant, especially considering the fact that it did come out 6 years later.

    1. Yea it’s more powerful, some of the worst looking Wii U games are on par with some of the best looking 360 games. And that’s even with the gamepad taking up some of the power. Trust me, I’ve owned both for years.

  2. He got most things right, but stating the Wii U was underpowered to the 360 and PS3? That couldn’t be more wrong. Also that bit with PC trying to emulate Wii U….PC isn’t so master race if you have to illegally steal other platforms games.

  3. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!}

    Typical Nintendo. Trying to do their own thing even if it leads to the detriment of their product. Next time, look at Sony & Microsoft’s online infrastructure for pointers on what to do & what not to do. There is such a thing as being TOO different, guys. Maybe we would have gotten Nintendo Account a hell of a lot sooner if they did some research on the competition’s online.
