Amazon US: The Tom Nook Amiibo Is Super Cheap

Want to add some Animal Crossing amiibo to your collection? Well, Amazon is selling a couple of them for a discounted price. You can grab Tom Nook for $5.92 and Mabel for $8.33. You certainly can’t grumble at those prices. I would assume this is possibly because Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival isn’t selling quite as well as Nintendo expected, but you never know. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with those two figures!

  1. I would like to know who was the genius at Nintendo which came up with this abomination called ac: amiibo festival.

I can’t say I’m not happy it bombed so miserably.

  2. “I would assume this is possibly because Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival isn’t selling quite as well as Nintendo expected.” I certainly expected this. You reap what you sow as they say. Put out a piece of crap spin-off no one asked for, expect negative ramifications.

              >>>Sure just message me via Miiverse when you’re on or if my eye caughts your name in the game then that too>>>

If you’re playing I’ll join your squad. Usually when I wake up you’re already playing.

Look for the in-game texting system. We can also communicate that way. For an example. My in-game name is Hendo. In the chat insert Hendo with this : in front of your in-game. ( Hendo: ) yours (N-commander) or (Mythanzos:) so we’ll know who’s who. It’s more convenient than miiverse.

                  >>>Alright sounds good, by the way, have you ever found any target doing Squad Tasks? I’ve found like one once out of maybe 500 tasks total by now>>>

Yep always do. I’m a fucking pro at squad tasks. If you need help in findjng out what needs to be found or killed. In the bottom right of the screen where the squad task box is located. You can press and I think hold the L button to reveal which icon represents which item or indigen that needs to be found or killed. Take that and refer it to your Intel if you need help locating the continent they live on.

Dude I was online when you were online at that time. I think you also completed the last survey you were looking for because you got an achievement for it. I think maybe after 15 mins or 20 mins after that happened you left the squad.

Yeah I even wrote to you through the chat thing. I know some of those are just repeated messages which makes them so fucking easy to miss. I’ve got to level 58 think last night. Trying to collect items for the ares and finish up last the last affinity missions I have left.

              2. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!}

When this happens with Metroid Prime: Federation Force, I’m going to throw a fucking party! Normally I wouldn’t care about making a Nintendo franchise more Japan friendly, but trying that shit with Metroid is not going to fucking fly! ESPECIALLY when making it Japan friendly involves cutesy bullshit like chibi shit.

                1. I don’t think it’s just Japan they’re trying to appeal to with the Mega Blocks chibi design- it’s anyone who doesn’t play Metroid to begin with. If they think this is going to gather new fans without alienating the old fans (too late), they are sorely mistaken.

I wonder if it’s good or bad that we haven’t seen or heard anything about FF since E3…

              3. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is not selling quite well as expected.

                Our response: DUH!!!!! LMFAO

Everyone loves Animal Crossing. Even the AC Amiibos are really cool!! Nobody likes that watered down crappy game Nintendo tried to push off on us!!

              4. I see this happening with boatloads of future non-smash amiibos. I know far too many people who are set to stop collecting amiibos when they’re done with Smash.

                1. If that really happens, Nintendo will finally realize that their remaining supporters — the diehard ones, who grew up on Nintendo platformers, not the casual wave — are really interested in immersive experiences, and not in toys and boring virtual board games.
