This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in thanks to sales tracking firm Media Create. There’s been a number of notable new releases this week including Hyrule Warriors Legends for the Nintendo 3DS which entered the charts at number three. However, it couldn’t quite beat Yakuza: Kiwami for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. With regards to hardware the Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling system shifting 39K while the Wii U only managed 11K this week. Anyway, here’s the best-selling games!

Wii U needs some games so I can start selling better. March and April should boost sales.

Agree and this is a normal week. No holiday at all for that week.
I wonder how much the Wii U has sold by now, and how much it’ll do before getting replaced. It had 10-11 millions sold in September, and it’s almost been half a year now. 12-13 millions?
You will know in February when the investor meeting occur.
Even then the number should be as of December 31 or something to that nature.
I’m actually surprised the Wii U is even selling at all still. It only has a small handful of must-have games. Not nearly as many as other Nintendo consoles have had.
