Rumour: Foxconn Says Nintendo NX Will Make Operations “Hot” In Second Half 2016

Foxconn Technology Group, the Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company, has apparently stated that the Nintendo NX will be making the company’s operations “hot” in the second half of 2016. This should be noted as a rumour at present because the actual source is in Chinese. However, it does sound like the company’s involvement in the Nintendo NX is really going to step up later this year.

          1. Actually I didn’t even mean to reply off of your comment. And honestly I can say I’ve never heard someone use the term hot and to describe a production of items.

“These cupcakes will sell like HOT cakes!” Makes sense.

So if using Hot to describe the amount of certain items production is a “lost art”, it must be waay before my time.

Honestly I just figured there was a miscommunication in translation. But whatever broskie, it’s all good.

    1. This is why I don’t like the media. I am so tired of hearing about the NX that I am at the point of I don’t care for it. I don’t know what it is and I already don’t want it. I just say a new eshop fighting game on Wii U and didn’t know nothing about it and I look at Indie/small third party games carefully. If sites focus on what is on systems right now instead of always talking about what some person is saying or writing just maybe people would talk about games instead of stuff that don’t exist at the moment.

  1. Um… okay?

Seriously, what is this supposed to mean?

(Breaking news, Nintendo NX to disable air conditioning systems at Nintendo HQ starting Q3 2016!)

  2. I hope Nintendo is saving for millions of advertising this time to hype it up like Sony was with PS4. Nintendo was stupid not to had thought of that advertising while Project Cafe was in R&D. Let alone stupid for making it only more powerful than 10 year old consoles knowing Sony and Microsoft had something powerful in their R&D.

  3. This time Nintendo needs to focus on the hardcore like Sony does. It was quite stupid of Nintendo not to see the temporary hype of Wii. Knowing Nintendo had plenty of time to make more chamges to Project Cafe while the weak system was in R&D.

  4. Nintendo was also stupid in not thinking of Galaxy 3 when Project Cafe was in R&D. And stupid for not thinking of Metroid while the Project Cafe was in R&D. Also stupid in getting rid of Rare Ware before buying Banjo-Kazooie while they still had ownership of rare. That was stupid.

  5. Nintendo was also stupid in not thinking of more than 8gigs when Project Cafe was in R&D and stupid for thinking in 2008 while Project Cafe was in R&D it only would need 1gb for gaming from 2012-2016. That was stupid.

      1. Ignoring Wii U with 1gig for gaming the NX was revealed when Wii U was 3 years old. If it was powerful then Nintendo would have no reason to bring up the next console that soon. PS4 turns 3 this year. Lets see if they are going to bring up PS5 that soon.

        1. I doubt it. I think the PS4 and XBone will be around a while. NX won’t fail for being sub par, it will fail because they showed up way too late to the Shindig and everyone already found dancing partners. It’ll sit in the corner too proud to realize if it wasn’t always late to everything, it wouldn’t have to keep sitting at the kid’s table.

            1. No they part of Jewish monkey Isis club. Right next to 4Chan and the black army that’s coming to destroy america soon? ;)

  6. Maybe it is meant to be taken literally and Foxconn will have to upgrade its ventilation system as production ramps up.
