Unfortunately, gamers that are uploading Minecraft videos that are featuring the Super Mario Mash-Up content are seeing their videos taken down. The details came from developer 4J Studios on Twitter, who revealed in a tweet that they were told that this wasn’t going to happen. The good news is that they are following up with Nintendo on the matter, and there have already been results. Nintendo will be investigating and resolving the issue.

It’s gotta be the music, since all the custom Mario music tracks are ripped directly from the games (if I’m not mistaken). This really baffles me though. Nintendo needs to realize, in many ways, that they’re stunting their growth by doing stuff like this.

Copyright worries is why I stopped making public YouTube videos. At least with my own personal home videos I don’t have to worry about that garbage. I always use video game music (retro and modern) as background music in my home videos.
