With the Rio Olympics officially under way, Nintendo UK is offering anyone who buys Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games a free Mario hat. It’s sure to make players feel more in character as they “go for gold” in the newest Mario and Sonic game.

To warm players up after its launch earlier this year, Nintendo is sweetening the deal when buying the latest entry in the Mario and Sonic series. The offer is available when purchasing either the 3DS or Wii U version of the game from Nintendo’s Official UK Store. Isn’t that the same exact Mario hat they gave away on Club Nintendo as a Platinum/Gold reward years ago? On the positive side, awesome as now more people can have it. On the negative side, it’s not a rare item anymore. *shrug*
