Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 29K And Wii U Sells 2K

It’s Wednesday which means it is time to see how both video game hardware and software performed in Japan last week. The big new entry was the adorable Monster Hunter Stories on the Nintendo 3DS which shot to the top of the charts easily outselling BlazBlue: Central Fiction which arrived at number two. With regards to hardware it is still the Nintendo 3DS battling it out with Sony’s PlayStation 4 console. Here’s the best-sellers this week.

  1. Expected a 3DS hardware boost from Monster Hunter but I guess I was wrong. I guess since it’s not one of the main MH games but a spin-off of sorts it’s not quite as popular.

    The MH game still sold well at least.
