The Unreal Engine Twitter account has just Tweeted that they are ”thrilled to partner with Nintendo” to help Unreal Engine 4 developers bring their games to the newly revealed Nintendo Switch.
We're thrilled to partner with Nintendo to help Unreal Engine 4 developers bring their games to Nintendo Switch! https://t.co/MWL29xhb90

The game engine developed by Epic Games is a well known tool for developers and received the Develop Industry Excellence Award for “Best Game Engine” this year. They are certainly a good third party partner for Nintendo to have on board.
Thanks, N-Dub Nation
Awesome, though there was little doubt in my mind. Still it’s great to have confirmation of URE4. Now, lets see some of the games that utilize it.
*Cough*KHIII*cough*
holy EASY MAC!
Announcements like this make it feel like Nintendo has only just now somewhat caught up to the industry, but I suppose that’s still way better than lagging behind…
Spoken like someone who doesn’t understand Nintendo’s modus operandi.
More and more confirmation that this system while probably not a beast still pack some heat.
Switch does what Wii U don’t.

Wii U is dead. Let’s all make the Switch!
Switch is good!
Welp, there it is.
This is encouraging.
Reminds me when people expected UE4 ports on Wii U, hilarious times.
wiiu wasnt official support it had to be hacked by 3rd partys
there was no epic tools for wiiu
This can’t be happening. Sickr babe help me!
Aw man, imagine the next Smash Bros. in Unreal Engine. IT’LL LOOK FANTASTIC!
I don’t think Nintendo would use Unreal. They seem happy to use the Havok engine for Smash.
Also, I have doubts in my mind about seeing another instalment of Smash on the Switch.
You never know when Nintendo would could come up something HUGE while using the Unreal Engine 4 in their games for Switch.
However, we heard that Bandai Namco will 100% develop Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch… powered by Unreal Engine 4.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
Awesome news. Could that new Mario title be utilizing UE4? It certainly looks like it
Could be. It looked like it used a good engine.
If this ever happens, Paid… Nintendo and NVIDIA can have my wallet immediately!
