GameStop Won’t Be Taking Pre-orders For The NES Mini

US video game retailer GameStop has announced that it won’t be taking pre-orders for the  Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition. The news was revealed by the company on Twitter and will come as a surprise to many. If you want one from GameStop you will no doubt have to queue up and snag one on launch day. The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition launches on November 11th.

  1. I’m not surprised. In fact, I wouldn’t doubt it if Gamestop didn’t even get this in their stores at all. Because it’s basically a Plug and Play system, and Gamestop NEVER got the other Plug and Play systems, such as the Atari Flashbacks etc. These will probably be at stores like
    Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy etc. Or if it’s anything like the Atari Flashbacks, even dollar stores, like the Dollar General and Family Dollar might get them. But since this is actually made by Nintendo, the previous stores I mentioned might be your best bet.

      1. What Collector said. I’ve seen the Sega Genesis thing that’s similar to NES Mini at the Dollar General closest to me & that thing was worth around 30 bucks. Dollar stores aren’t exactly as their name would imply these days.
