}{ Just play the pc version… You don’t need skin packs, you can create your own skins… You don’t need map packs, other people have already made almost every map imaginable and for mini games servers with plugins are a thing… And you don’t have to put up with lousy controller controls (not to say controllers are always bad, but for minecraft they really are)… }{
Exactly. Most PCs will run Minecraft decently, so you have no reason to play any other version.
Yous do realise not everyone has a pc. And who are yous to say what to and not to buy? 🤔
humans are weird aren’t they?
Don’t you mean pc fanboys are so damn annoying trying to make you feel guilty for not gaming on pc only.
}{ If you can afford to purchase a console every generation… why not just buy a PC, which doesn’t go out of date, although you may have to do some upgrades over time, and it has infinite backwards compatability… Additionally with regard to this subject, it has a better version of Minecraft… }{
The only thing I like playing on pc is fightcade, other than that I prefer consoles.
}{ But a pc can even act as a console if you want, especially now that Steam Big Picture mode is a thing, not to mention that PC has most games consoles do, as well as loads of exclusives… If people were to shift to PC more, software devs would support it more and more (as they already are beginning to), to the point where we might have one unified system that we can all enjoy, rather than segmented console generations with argument after argument over who’s exclusives and tech is better… }{
I just don’t feel like hooking my laptop up to my TV, i’m just not feeling that. And also, my laptop is pretty mediocre, as an example I feel like SFIV runs smoother on my PS3 than it does on Steam. The only thing I like playing on my PC are a few ROM games, mostly fighting games emulated from arcade versions.
}{ I can certainly see that, as I have not always had the best experiences with older/mediocre laptops. I might recommend building a desktop, as they tend to perform better for longer, and building it yourself saves a ton of money as well as allowing you to learn something new (assuming you’ve never done it before). SFIV will run perfectly smooth on a state of the art computer, but with an older computer you may notice some hiccups as technological demands grow much stiffer… Unless of course SFIV is one of those games which the devs didn’t optimize the port correctly (i don’t own the steam version, so i don’t know), which happens on both sides of the spectrum from time to time, which to come full circle is why I would like one universal platform, so that poor optimization and porting becomes a thing of the past… }{
I’ve also always liked the PS controller, I’ve been using it since PS2 days so it’s just become a preference. Also, I won the gold PS4 from Taco Bell, so I’ll take free over spending money on a new PC lol :P
Wel I happen to own Minecraft on Wii U, PS3, PS4, Vita, PC and Android.
}{ Now I’m curious… Which version do you find to be superior with your experience?.. and if you say Android you discredit yourself entirely… }{
excuse me, i’m allowed an opinion and any decision i have, will NOT discredit myself. my favourite version is the wii u version
}{ You are excused for believing such lies… However you would in fact be discredited for finding something as clearly inferior as the mobile version of a game to be superior to a full release… My question to you, with regards to the Wii U version, is why do you find it superior? I find it inferior relative to the PC one, due to infuriating joystick controls, payed DLC that would be free on PC, as well as a limited world size, whereas the PC version supports mods, texture packs, custom skins, plugins for servers, and an infinite world size… You are welcome to your opinions, but you should, of course, have a reason behind them… }{
Personally, I’ve never played Minecraft but after playing Dragon Quest Builders and enjoying the hell out of it I’m considering getting it. I’ll probably go with the Wii U version because of those sweet mario dlc packs and the gamepad functionality seems pleasurable. Also, to add to another point of why I prefer console over PC is that I sit in front of a computer 40 hours a week at my job. When I play video games I want to sit on my couch and recline in front of my 60 inch TV with surround sound.
}{ Which can be done with an hdmi cable, and a controller for pc users… I have used my pc on a television several times in the past, and it works flawlessly… }{
this comment section is always full of these bot messages lol
Who cares about the bloody pc,fed up of pc fanboys that try to force pc gaming on you.I can afford a pc but pc gaming doesn’t interest me one bit.A lot of people prefer consoles it’s just something you have to accept.
}{ Change never comes without resistance… One day… All shall fall… }{
I love the hassle free multiplayer set up, which I find very confusing on pc where you have to set up servers etc. I shouldn’t have to I don’t think and I do not want to pay for their own serves per month which is way overpriced imo. I love the mario dlc of course! Automatic gamepad support is appreciated too! I am a pc gamer too but i love it on console more
}{ Just to clarify, you don’t have to pay for a server if you don’t want to, basic setups can be done for free (guess how I know that)… Also, I will not deny that port-forwarding and server setup can be a bit of a hassle on the PC version of some games, however first, there are a plethora of online tutorials to help you figure it out, and also, the industry is acknowledging this issue as a whole, which is why a lot of more recent games are starting to allow either traditional server setup or playing through Steam e.g. Starbound and Terraria }{
PC is for work not games honey
}{ Never show up a month late for a party dear… }{
It’s annoying when pc fanboys try to force pc gaming down your throat.
It’s annoying when pc fanboys try to force pc gaming down your throat.Not everyone want’s a pc for gaming people like what they like.
Another upcoming patch, while the gamers slack, hurry up Klungo and grab my latch.
