Kirby Café Shuts Down

It seems like Nintendo’s Kirby themed café only just opened. After three months of serving food based on the world of Dream Land, the Kirby Café has closed for the last time. Waving goodbye in a cute gif released on Twitter, Kirby has officially left the restaurant business. Seeing as most fans never got a chance to visit, this is a sad day for some. However, the café seems to have been a success in Japan.

    1. Pop-up cafes are a common Japanese trying, they aren’t meant to be permanent restaurants but are meant to create more demand because of the limited time

  1. You guys know nothing about Japan. There are themed café’s all the time, they’re usually done by Good Smile Company and are there for a month or two. The fact that the Kirby one lasted for three months is amazing. Other IP owners most likely have the spot reserved for their IPs to advertise.

Are you saying that anybody who knows anything about Japan, must know that themed cafes are only open for a month or two there? I didn’t know that Japan’s entire culture and history revolved around themed cafes.

  2. Meh… Onward to the next video game themed cafe in Japan! Because we know it’s gonna happen.

(Not sure if good rhyming or bad rhyming. *shrug*)
