Check Out The Nintendo Switch’s User Interface

We have seen a lot of the Nintendo Switch, but the user interface was something we didn’t really get a good look at during the presentation. That has changed, thanks to Twitter. We’ve included the tweet down below, which includes an image of the console’s user interface.

  1. Simple is good for me, i hate UI’s that was like X1 when it first came out. Just whole bunch of shit on the screen a really clunky mess. Most of the shit on there you most likely weren’t even gonna use.

Hah! Keep it up, Nintendo! The more stuff reminiscent of PlayStation 4 I see, the more happier I get… Even if it can’t compare to PS4 in power, I’ll be happy as hell with just being on par with it’s features.

  2. Could use some explanation, but I like the minimalist approach. The X1 feels cluttered and overly complicated. The Wii U UI has a good menu setup, but the basic functions were executed poorly. (i.e. social aspects, system settings, etc.)

Please have other things in common with PS4, Switch! I’ll be happy without PS4 power if it’s at least got a ton of Sony features! It’d be nice if it was Nintendo on the other side copying the competition for once!

  4. Guys, i was wondering. Correct me if i’m wrong.. but Nintendo say in the past that.. for the next console(Switch) they were going to keep the Mii Plaza, Miiverse, and all of that but revamped… Does this mean that they get rid of that??
I haven’t seen a single video where they show that “social” interaction from before.. So. ?

      1. I guess… i just hoping they revamped everything with better system integration and better functions, less restrictions, etc..
        :(

  5. Really love the simplicity of it, but it is in some desperate need of being able to use themes. I’m confident Nintendo is going to re-introduced themes though as I’m sure it was a money maker for them.

Probably making a Nintendo Badge Arcade for Switch, too. I hope they do more than just claw games, though, because I suck at them.
