Europe: Bomberman 64 Coming This Week To Wii U Virtual Console

Bomberman’s Nintendo 64 adventure Bomberman 64 will be part of this week’s Nintendo eShop update on the Wii U. You will also be pleased to know that this is based on the US version of the game, so it will run at 60hz. Here’s the description for the fan pleasing Bomberman game:

How many jobs are there out there where one gets paid to toss bombs around, blowing up everything in your path? The evil Altair has wrested control of the Omni Cube (which allows its holder to possess the tremendous power of the universe), and it’s up to Bomberman to get it back.

Seeing as how Super Bomberman R preformed much better than it deserved, here’s to hoping we get a bigger budget Bomberman adventure game. Konami may have betrayed the Sonyans, but if they prove loyal the The First Order. I’ll mark them an ally.

  2. Ho boy, mad nostalgia incoming.
This game was one of the very first games I’ve ever owned and played, I didn’t finish it though and I lost the cartridge.
Maybe it’s time to settle this old score once and for all.

I wish they had released Bomberman 64 & The Second Attack to VC awhile back when my Wii U was still fucking functional & I was hopelessly blinded by it’s nice Gamepad functions & before I became fully jaded with Ninty. Hurry up with VC on Switch & give me access to these Bomberman games so that I can finally beat The Second Attack, damn it!
