Details for Sun & Moon – Guardians Rising, the second expansion for the latest Pokémon TCG series have today been revealed. The new set brings 140 new cards to the game and will launch in retail on May 5.
This new expansion brings even more brand-new Pokémon native to the Alola region into the game, and introduces the island guardians Tapu Koko and Tapu Lele in the form of highly powerful Pokémon-GX cards.
Make sure to pick up the two new theme decks featuring Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala as well as booster packs full of new cards at participating Toys”R”Us and GameStop locations as well as hobby shops across the US and Canada starting May 5!.
I have memories of trying to play the card game like the Game Boy games. It was futile, as no one used energy cards in place of PP.
