Platinum Games Possibly Teasing Bayonetta For Nintendo Switch?

One developer that’s adored by fans is the mighty Platinum Games. The company has finally opened their official Twitter account and one of the first things posted is a possible tease for the beloved Bayonetta franchise. Many are speculating that the company is planning to re-release Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo’s latest system. Even thought the red and blue is respective for the game’s main colours many are pointing towards the similarities to the colours of the Neon Joy-Con. The company even retweeted a tweet pointing towards the similarities to the Joy-Con colours.

      1. Considering Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2 and would most certainly fund Bayonetta 3 (should it exist) it will absolutely not be multi plat. I personally wouldn’t care as even if it did become multi plat I’d still get Bayo 3 on Switch

        1. I can always hope. If it’s a switch exclusive I’ll probably get it like a year after it releases because that and FE: Warriors are pretty much the only two games I’m looking forward to

  1. I have a gut feeling that it’s gonna happen. Nintendo, PlatinumGames, and SEGA… please make it happen! Bayonetta 1 & 2 for the Nintendo Switch!!!!

  2. Well, they do want the Wii U games that were well received to get a second chance with gamers on the Switch. Given how well Bayonetta did in the Smash poll I’d say her games deserve a rerelease. Not to mention the fact that I wanted to get the 1/2 combo pack but couldn’t find it anywhere before the price exploded on me so I’d be more than happy to see a Switch rerelease.

  3. If this isn’t confirmation then it must be some sick and cruel joke by platinum ! Lol never found time to play either on the wiiu but if they come to the switch it’s a day 1 for me

  5. A Bayonetta 2 remaster would be a excellent appetizer until the main course known as ” Bayonetta 3 ” arrives……I hope this is the case. Don’t patronize us Platinum lol

    1. A remaster of Bayonetta 1 and 2 for the Nintendo Switch would be great. The ultra dessert of them all… Bayonetta 3 exclusively for the Switch would make it a complete meal!

That’s some pretty big reaching considering what the colors already represent. In any case, let’s hope Bayonetta 1+2 end up on Switch, so it can get a second chance to sell on hopefully what will be a way better selling system from Ninty.

  7. & NO! It will not be a multi platform affair!!! At least hopefully. If NINTENDO outright pays for pt 3 how they paid for pt 2 that is.

Im sick & tired of people whinning about the lack of 3rd party games on the SWITCH & soon as they hear Beyonetta 1, 2 & 3 possibly coming to the SWITCH they scream “I hope it goes multi platform”.
…..F**K OUTTA HERE WITH THAT BUUUUULLSH*T!!! Lol

  8. I can’t stand anything about Bayonetta, aside from the woman herself. I didn’t play too much of Bayonetta. But from what I did play, and what I’ve seen in YouTube videos, I pretty much hate everything about it. I hate the button mashing gameplay. I hate the overall story, and I hate the way the so-called angels look more like demons (or just idiotic looking objects). AND, I hate the way the cutscenes show still framed images while the characters talk. What’s up with that?

Last but not least, I don’t think Bayonetta (the woman) is the least bit funny when she’s making sarcastic or quirky comments and jokes. She’s just so over-confident and full of herself that it makes me sick. And all of this is very unfortunate, since I really wanted to like these games, and I’ve always liked Bayonetta (the woman). The only Bayonetta thing I’m excited about is the upcoming amiibo.

Well it is pretty hard to get into a game if you don’t like the character you’re playing. That & his tastes are pretty limited compared to some of us.

    1. If you button mash you’re going to die a lot. It may look like button mashing but she just does very fast combos, you still need to pay attention to the surroundings and enemies attack. It’s easy to see another person play and another thing to actually play it.
