Japan: Nintendo Switch Sells Out In Just 3 Minutes On My Nintendo Store

The Nintendo Switch remains a tricky piece of hardware to get your hands on despite launching back in March. The lucrative system went up for sale earlier today in Japan via the My Nintendo store and quickly sold out in a record breaking three minutes. Nintendo couldn’t offer any advice regarding when new stock will come in but they advise checking the site daily in order to secure a unit.

  1. Ridley X3 {Jaded Ninty fan. Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4. Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch; just need cloud storage, add external HDD support, & to eliminate the need for that stupid Nintendo Switch Online App on smartphones.}

    The main thing I take away from the Switch shortages now is Nintendo getting it’s ass kicked by Apple in the race for the parts they need for the Switch. xD

  2. You can buy a console on My Nintendo in Japan? Over here, we still don’t have anything worth spending points on, so they go to waste. Whoever thought that making points expire was a good idea should be sacrificed to whatever god is giving Apple our Switch parts.
