In a recent briefing with the company’s investors, DeNA CEO Isao Moriyasu said the company currently has around 100 people “directly participating” in the Nintendo Alliance. This is out of a total Game & Entertainment Business Unit team of more than 1,000. Moriyasu also confirmed that the partnership with Nintendo remains a “high priority” and that DeNA would increase the work force if necessary.
DeNA also shared how the company was performing. In the fiscal year that ended March 31, 2017, DeNA’s games business earned them a total of ¥101.4 billion ($915 million) which is down 7.5% from the year previous. The segment’s profits rose 9% to ¥28.3 billion ($255 million).
Although no solid release date has been confirmed, we can expect to see an Animal Crossing mobile game by the end of this year.

10% doesn’t sound like much of a priority. No wonder Mario Run doesn’t have new content.
I want DeNA to stop making Mario Party games. They ruined Mario Party 9 AND 10 with that idiotic car thingy, and making the games luck based instead of skill. In other words, they ruined the series.
Oops! My bad. That’s Nd Cube that ruined Mario Party. Not DeNA.
*Yawn*
Roll me over when someone announces some games.
Well there is this & then there is that. Oh & that, too! Also that & that and that over there. Yeah… I got nothing in mind coming to Switch right now to interest ya. Nothing except maybe my bad joke.
This is very surprising.
