Bandai Namco have recently uploaded a video to their YouTube channel which gives a good look at the awesome Mario Kart Arcade GP VR. The game is currently only available to play at the VR Zone, located in Shinjuku, Japan but take a look at the video below and prepare to get very jealous. Fingers crossed that we get to see it outside of Japan in the future.

That looks amazing and chaotic . Not a huge fan of VR (yet) but this would definitely make me rethink how fun VR can be! Don’t know if this could ever make it on to Switch but if Nintendo decided to sell it as a standalone product, I’d buy it 😅
Trust me my friend. VR is the future, VR is what everyone will have in 10 or 20 years (I didn’t give an exaclty date because it depends on the country you live).
VR is a really cool thing and I have to study it more on deep for knowing all the features and benefits that gives the VR.
One thing for sure that the VR will let you not only to enjoy playing games but also allow you to conquer your fears, this is what I studied during the first years at the university.
Sounds sweet. By the way, I like your user name, has a nice ring to it ;)
Oops about user name, I mistook you for someone who like my comment. Sorry for the mixup but of course your username is cool too >_< . I just you'd be thinking "what's this guy talking about ?" So I thought I'd apologize lol.
Wait are you Nintendo will save the world and Nintendo guy? I’m confused 😝
Yes I am the same person.
Bowser castle never looked so scary. It’s awesome and I hope I don’t have to go to Japan to someday try this out. Universal could easily throw this into their parks.
The Mario Kart ride they’re building will be much, much better.
I want to go to Japan one day. Also, don’t forget, in the 2020 there is the Nintendo park theme which will be the most important event in the world.
Nintendo park theme? Do you mean opening date for the theme park in Japan or worldwide?
I think the date opening for Japan is the same for worldwide.
How come GP looks a million times better than 8 deluxe?? Lol
Because this looks like to be made in Unreal Engine 4 and since it is an arcade game it looks better since it is designed only to run that one game. If you are familiar with the GP series the track design is very lazy and repetitive since it has to fit the steering wheel control meaning that it can’t have diverse track design meaning while it can be more graphic heavy.
Because Mario Kart 8 was made on the Wii U and ported to Switch as Deluxe, so very little if any actual graphical upgrade and this is probably played on a custom piece of hardware that would retail at around $1000 (not including VR gear)
This looks awesome. I really wanna try this out.
