A new Brella weapon is on the way to Splatoon 2. It is called the Tenta Brella and will soon be made available to players of the Nintendo Switch shooter. An exact release date has yet to be announced, but stay tuned for any updates. The upcoming weapon is described as being like a regular umbrella that somewhat resembles a camping tent, capable of guarding over a large area. You can check out some photos of the Tenta Brella in the gallery below. As part of a free software update tomorrow, September 15, the Kelp Dome stage from the original Splatoon will mark its return.
I’ve been waiting for a new Brella type weapon so I’ll definitely be trying this out asap. That said I really didn’t expect one to look so… crazy 😂
Hopefully it handles dope, I could use a new go-to main weapon.
Yeah, we’ll have to see. I could never get any good with the Brella, which sucked because I always thought it was cool and I always felt all Kingsman-like using it, lol. Perhaps this one will work out better for me.
It has that new bubble special too! I think it’s going to be pretty popular!

This is gonna be such an obnoxious weapon. With that huge of a guarding space it’s gonna give a huge advantage to those using it. I hope it’s balanced otherwise to make up for this huge advantage.
