Nintendo Korea Has Announced The Games That Will Be Available For South Korea’s Switch Launch

Believe it or not, South Korea is still waiting for their version of the Nintendo Switch to release. The console is not scheduled to release until December 1st, so there are many games that they have not had the opportunity to play. In fact, we only just found out what games will launch with the console moments ago, courtesy of the details provided by Nintendo Korea. Here is the list of South Korea’s Switch launch line-up, which includes titles that already launched on the Switch in other regions:

  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • 1-2-Switch
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2
  • Disgaea 5
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  • Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap

  • Sonic Forces
  • Fate/EXTELLA
  • Super Bomberman R
  • Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Version
  • Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers
  • Biohazard (Resident Evil) Revelations Unveiled Edition

There’s also a small list of games that will be releasing after December 1st, so we’ve included that, too.

  • December 15 – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  • December – LEGO World, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
  • January 18 – Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

    1. Personally I would’ve released a title like Splatoon 2 sooner in a country like South Korea, but Nintendo probably know what they’re doing.

  1. Inb4 people bitch about the voice acting in the Korean version of BOTW being terrible x3 Or at least not that good.

“Zelda sounds like shit” or “They ruined x character” XD

Other than that I have to say the launch lineup for the Nintendo Switch in South Korea looks rather strong.

    1. Probably not. I’ve already played the game with Koreans who know no Japanese. If you’ve played MH before, it’s not very difficult, because there’s no real story as there was in MH3 and MH4. Maybe it’ll come with a sheet to explain the basic menus.

  3. South Korea, who hasn’t even gotten a Switch yet have Monster Hunter XX for Switch as a game coming to them, while everyone else is still waiting? Wow, Capcom, wow. Talk about a slap in the face to everyone not in the east.
