You probably saw earlier that we published the Japanese Media Create charts. It’s clear that Nintendo is once again dominating Japan with the Nintendo Switch. What you may not have realised is that Splatoon 2 has already surpassed Splatoon sales on the Wii U in a fairly short amount of time. Splatoon 2 sales in Japan stand at 1,668,466 compared to lifetime sales of Splatoon Wii U at 1,532,079.
