We know that Bayonetta 3 has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch but we don’t know when to expect it. A supposed leaker of video game information on Reddit says it’s expected this summer, which sounds sooner than most people expected it. The user shared their findings with a moderator and here’s what he had to say:
I cannot personally reveal my source, but I have it on good authority from a reliable source that Bayonetta 3 will be released this year, maybe this summer. It will not be released later than 2018 barring a disaster.

They’ll probably started to work on Bayonetta 3 since 2015
It’s likely they’ve been lowkey working on it for years, just like with 2.
Also, they’re probably going to use the same engine, which saves a ton of time (Just like the next Zelda will probably take less time than Breath of the Wild, since they’ve all but outright confirmed they’re going to keep using the same engine).

Please let it be true. If Bayonetta 3 launches this year along with possible releases of Smash Bros Deluxe, Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime 4 and Pokémon Switch…the Switch is gonna steamroll the competition this year, I’m sorry

Pikmin has never been a big seller, so even if it’s made and comes out in 2018 it probably won’t be what steamrolls the competition.
Pikmin 3 sold decent on the wii u (it was my first game into the series) So a 4th game on the switch will sell much better than pikmin 3
