Japan: Mario Tennis Aces For Nintendo Switch Is The Number One Game This Week

It is Wednesday which means it’s time to see how the new video game releases and hardware performed in Japan. It’s good news for Nintendo this week as Mario Tennis Aces has shot to number one on the Nintendo Switch and sold substantially more copies than New Gundam Breaker for the PlayStation 4. Once again it was the Nintendo Switch which was the best-selling system this week, easily outselling the competition. Here’s the best-sellers this week:

  1. Glad to see Japan has good taste, can’t believe people here in the states call the gameplay too complex.

        1. Mario Kart is the only Mario sports game I enjoy. I never could get into the others like Golf & Tennis, so they are all lame to me by default. As for sports games that aren’t Mario, only racing & wrestling have kept my attention.

      1. Updates not worth it really, a few characters? A court or two? … I was hoping this to be like the GameCube tennis
