SEGA AGES Phantasy Star Coming To Nintendo Switch In September

Japanese Nintendo Switch owners will be delighted to hear that the iconic Phantasy Star series is landing on the Nintendo Switch this September in the form of SEGA AGES Phantasy Star. The game is due to be priced up ¥999. The Nintendo Switch version features a bestiary, item guide, auto-mapping and also FM music for the western version.

    1. Siiiiiick, this is gonna be a day 1 buy for me, loved the original phantasy star. One of its huge flaws was the lack of a map for dungeons, making it extremely easy to get lost EVEN when trying to make your own map w/ pencil and paper. Hopefully they’ll follow up w/ phantasy star 2, 3, and 4.

  1. Only in Japan, I assume? Too bad, I’d be interested in this. One of very few 8-bit RPGs that ended up kinda clicking with me when I played them.
