Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey for the Nintendo 3DS is now out in Japan and some of you will undoubtedly be wondering how it holds up against the original Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story on the Nintendo DS. Well, Tilmen has gotten ahold of a copy and has produced the comparison video you can watch below. Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey is due out next month here in the west.

I don’t want to be annoying but the title screen of the DS game is better than the 3DS. Just saying

The ds look is a lot more charming imo lol
But the music in the 3DS version sounds the same…except the title screen, which doesn’t sound at all like the original. I actually love the battle graphics of the 3DS version. I have to wonder though, will they do Partners in Time, or is this because Bowser’s Inside Story sold better than Partners in Time, or they can’t make a port with an additional storyline like Superstar Saga’s Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser!
It does look improved, but I’m gonna pass on this game probs.
