We reported recently that Japanese video game software and hardware sales tracker Media Create is considering whether they will continue sending out public sales data. Today, the company has confirmed that they have decided to stop providing public sales figures for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo sales in Japan from next month. Do not fear though, as we should still be able to get Famitsu sales number each week, but they aren’t thought to be quite as accurate.
I wasn’t too invested in these numbers. Sorry for anyone who was though
I got a conspiracy theory of why this is happening. It’s all Microsoft’s fault! xD They are sick of seeing the Xbox One sales being crap in Japan! Take that, Sony, Nintendo, & Microsoft haters! Ha haaah! lol
Sony fans, Nintendo fans*
The Switch is outselling everything and now they decide to stop. Okay.
F=Ma.
I guess seeing the same shit all over again gets stale after a while.
