    1. Not so sure, Nintendo said switch is barely half way through its life span, so mp4 could still release in a couple years on switch or maybe it’ll be a crossover game like Nintendo have done before. Either way I’d be surprised if it came even q4 2021. Just want them to take their time and make it amazing.

      1. Honestly, I believe they will get this done by 2021 or 2022. I mean, Metroid Prime 4 is still in development and the Metroid series has not lose its edge yet. I’m also still wondering about Bayonetta 3 development as well.

    2. I believe we will have to fork over $450 to play Metroid Prime 4. I also think the same thing for Bayonetta 3. And I’m starting to believe Pikmin 4 is skipping Switch and going to the next generation console as well. Cant Nintendo at least tell us something instead of just not saying nothing?

  1. Some of the staff offers seems vital for the game’s development.

it kinda looks like they are still having problems to figure out this one.

I hope the final product will be just as good as they intend to.

  2. It’d be funny if MY metroid-like game I started making all the way back in protest of federation force (I can still remember calling it “mehtroid crime, failderation farce XD) before e3 2017 announced metroid’s revival, if my game actually got released before PRIME 4 of all things!!!!!

Ah well, not that I NEED it right now or anything. I hope the guys at retro aren’t pushing themselves into crunch or anything like that either.

(I can still remember calling it “mehtroid crime, failderation farce XD)”

Is probably the most “up your own ass” lie I’ve ever read on this site.

      1. Metroid Prime federation force was the second game i played and the online co-op seems pretty decent to me. But, it was a bit disappointing that Samus is not playable in the game since she is the series main protagonist as all and the story didn’t go well as Nintendo expected.

  3. I’m sure they didn’t spend the last year sleeping. They have probably put some considerable mileage development-wise. Plus I’m sure there were assets from before the reset that could be used.

These new jobs may be needed to accelerate development rather than start it.
