Super Mario 3D World is coming to the Switch in February of 2021 as Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. But, how much has the game been changed, compared to the original? GameXplain addressed this in a new video. It turns out that not only is the game running faster, but there have been camera adjustments, a “Mario Odyssey-style mid-air dive”, and more. The video is down below.
I think this port was the secret star of the show from the Direct earlier. Out of every Wii U port to the Switch so far, this looks like the one with the most effort and care.
I mean majority of the wii u ports either add an extra character or minor mode, this one tops
them all, and sure their is the captain toad port that came with extra levels, but you still had to pay for them as dlc, 3d world seems to take the cake when it comes to ports done well, I find it even funnier that it isn’t name deluxe because out of all the ports this one is more worthy of having that title than the past ports we got
I know right? this seems ok to me.
How long will Bowser’s Fury be, will it be long let’s wait and see.
I think it’s worth noting that, unlike with DKC: Tropical Freeze and Pikmin 3, Mario 3D World has not been pulled from the Wii U eShop with the announcement of 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Unless Nintendo just hasn’t gotten around to it yet but I don’t think that’s the case here.
