While it was disappointing that the rumoured new Ace Attorney game was not announced during the Nintendo Direct presentation yesterday, SEGA and Capcom leaker Justyouraverageleaker who said a new game is coming has reiterated on X that the game is still coming. He wasn’t sure when the project would be announced, but says that the game is deep in development at Capcom.
“I believe in it being announced this year. It’s been deep in development.”
Hearing about these games is really cool, and for the most part I don’t really mind leaks (Smash Bros. characters are where I draw the line though lmao, the spectacle there is too peak), but honestly I think just with how much has been leaked, I’d rather just hear when they’re announced? It kinda makes the wait even longer, when something like OOT Remake has like +3 months or so to release when it’s leaked early
Maybe ports being leaked aren’t as bad since those are more exciting to look forward to on Switch 2, since they’re more of an inevitability than an if
