Pikmin 3 Deluxe is not even a month old, but you may have noticed that there has yet to be a single update for the game. It’s just an enhanced port of a Wii U game, so odds are high that updates aren’t a significant priority compared to other titles, but even enhanced ports may need updating every now and then. One of those occasions is tonight.
Nintendo has released an update for Pikmin 3 Deluxe, the first one that the game has received since it released late last month. Once you update the game, it should be at version 1.1.0. The official patch notes don’t have much, just a couple of bug fixes. The patch notes can be seen in full down below.
Overview
- Fixes the bug where collected fruits were not being recorded under certain conditions.
- If the problem was already happening, the collected fruit record will unfortunately not be adjusted. Once the update is downloaded, the bug will be fixed by going back to the date with no fruits recorded and collecting a fruit.
- Fixes the bug where acquired Badges got reverted to the unacquired status under certain conditions.
- If the problem was already happening, the badges can be acquired by meeting the acquisition condition again.

they should add touch support.
People hated it that feature on Wii U do why want it now?
The touch controls were the best input method avaliable after the wiimote+gamepad one. They just took way too long to implement them, like a year or so I think? I tried to get into the demo, but I felt like I was fighting the controls all the time in all settings.
because they actually loved it, and its optional

Ok so Pikmin 3 Deluxe doesn’t have touch pad. I’m glad I kept my Wii U version and dont have to fork $120 for the game twice
I know right! It was so easy, just tap where you wanted the pikmin tossed. Just like motion aiming for the TV. If I’m in handheld why cant I tsp on the display? It worked great in the Wii u version
Rayman Legends did too. But at that time I bought the game twice because I thought Ubisoft was going to do the same treatment they did on Wii U.
yea! i had that too. it was great that way
