GQ Magazine has revealed their top 10 best Mario Nintendo Switch games

The 35th anniversary of Super Mario is not done yet. And the UK’s GQ Magazine is celebration the occasion by taking a look at the franchise’s more recent games. More specifically, Mario games that have released on the Nintendo Switch. In fact, they’ve ranked their top 10 favorite Mario Switch games

There are some games that made it on the list that have released in just the last year, while others had launched back when the Nintendo Switch had just launched itself. At the top spot is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which GQ calls an “almost perfect refinement of the familiar Kart franchise”. You can see GQ’s full top 10 list down below.

  5. Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

  8. Mario Tennis Aces
  9. Paper Mario: The Origami King
  10. Super Mario Party

  1. Am I the only one who would not rank Mario Odyssey that high? I mean, I thought it was good, but not *great*. I feel like having that many moons to find kind of took away from the satisfaction of collecting them, because they were everywhere.

    1. Ya know what, I disagree – had a great time, think it deserves the spot – but I never thought about the game that way, and I think you have a super valid point! I absolutely see where you’re coming from, because I did at one or two times think that there were waaaaay too many moons!

  2. Clicked on this article thinking, “There can’t really be THAT many Mario games on the Switch already!”

    I was wrong…and own over half the list, so I’m also just dumb!

    Why does everyone hate on the WiiU, as we can see #1 and #3 on this list are both ports of WiiU games. Not to mention #7 as well.
