The latest edition of Japanese publication Weekly Famitsu is now available for subscribers and with it comes this week’s reviews. The popular video gaming magazine features the very first published review of Bravely Default II which is due to be released on the Switch this Friday. The four reviewers each gave the game a solid 9 resulting in a final score of 36/40. Here’s all this week’s reviews:
- Bravely Default II (Switch) – 9/9/9/9 [36/40]
- Empire of Sin (PS4, Switch) – 8/7/8/7 [30/40]
- Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection (Switch) – 8/8/8/7 [31/40]
Did they fix the menu? The items menu and the equipment menu specifically? Can’t switch between characters in the equipment menu, and in accessories in the items menu, some stats are displayed confusingly or wrong like the weight. And the details dialogue box can’t be toggled after selecting an item. What about the weird sound for pressing back that sounds like you’re squishing a small toad from the Mario games? Does Elvis fit in the equipment menu now? Does anyone fit in the jobs menu? There are other issues in the final demo, but did they fix some of them?
