Ubisoft and the official Prince of Persia Twitter account have confirmed this evening that the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, which was scheduled for this year, will now arrive in 2022. The company also stated in a message that the game won’t be showcased at Ubisoft Forward which is being streamed this Saturday at 8pm UK time. India has been hit very hard by the pandemic and Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai say that they aren’t ready to share any new information about the remake. However, they have promised to share more information when they are ready. You can read their message down below.
That’s very good to hear, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake deserves a better presentation than what was shown last year. I was (and still is) a huge fan of the original and it’s sequels. Hopefully the extra time taken will not only be taken in main a great game worthy of it’s title, but also time used to develop a master class NS version.
