Nintendo of America confirms Zelda & Loftwing amiibo impacted by “unforeseen” shipping delays

Those of you who are wondering where your Zelda & Loftwing amiibo have gotten too today should be made aware that Nintendo of America has stated that a number of the prized figures have been hit with unforeseen shipping delays. IGN has contacted the company after it was made aware of complaints of missed shipping dates for a number of the amiibo figures which are due to be in customers hands today. Sadly the next batch of the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo aren’t scheduled to arrive until August. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is available now.

“The Zelda & Loftwing amiibo figure is currently impacted by unforeseen shipping delays. As a result, only a small portion of the Zelda & Loftwing will be available on its scheduled July 16 launch date. Additional shipments are delayed until August. We will ship additional amiibo to retailers as soon as they arrive.”

  1. oh really nintendo? shipping delays? 10 amiibo to be divided up amongst and an entire district of retailers is hardly a “shipment” (he said sarcastically)

i was lucky enough to grab the joycons today…after running around all morning… i finally found a place as they were opening that had some available in store. i got the last one… they had 8. EIGHT!

i talked to a manager from a grocery store that has an electronics department (not where i found my joycons). he told me the whole district received 24 joycons to be dived between two stores. all the other stores in the district were just outta luck .

    shit’s dumb
