The Nintendo Switch firmware has been updated to version 13.2.1

The Nintendo Switch has been receiving quite a few firmware updates in the past 6 months, and it has been more than a month since the last update had been released. So, it was only a matter of time before the first official firmware update of the new year was going to be released for Nintendo’s console.

Well, Nintendo has just released a new Nintendo Switch firmware update. Once you download the update, the console should be at version 13.2.1. This is yet another update that doesn’t change much. In fact, all the official patch notes say is that Nintendo did “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.

  1. Hooray, we’ve finally got folders! Oh… maybe not.
I can’t believe switch has been out for nearly 5 years and we haven’t got this simple thing that the 3ds has.

  2. Was trying to format an sd card, but it kept telling me a system software update was available. Couldn’t format the sd card until i was on the most recent firmware update. It kept telling me a system software update was available and perform the update operation. Is that normal, i was just trying to format an sd card. But couldn’t until i updated my Switch.
