Ever since Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack launched in late October, updates for the SEGA Genesis library has been few and far between. In fact, the last time that the SEGA Genesis library received more games was in December of last year.
Well, as of tonight, that has changed. Nintendo has announced that Light Crusader, Super Fantasy Zone and Alien Soldier are now available to play for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. Nintendo of America tweeted about the news, so you can see their official tweet down below.
Huh I kinda forgot the Sega games were apart of this service last update was around paper Mario launch.
You’d think Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic 3 would be added by this point, especially with the Sonic 2 movie coming out in less than a month.
The Sonic Origins collection is coming soon, so it may be a long while before we see it on here. Also, Idk what the deal is with Sonic 3 since this is the first time it’s getting a port in over a decade while the other Sonic Genesis games were included in collections.
Ehhhhh
