Onimusha anime coming to Netflix

Onimusha games have been released by Capcom for roughly 20 years now, with a couple of them seeing a release on a Nintendo console. In fact, the original was remastered a few years ago, and that released on the Nintendo Switch. The other was Onimusha Tactics, which released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003.

Well, Netflix has announced that an anime based on the video gaming franchise is on the way. A premiere date hasn’t been announced at this time, but it was confirmed that the anime will be produced by Sublimation and directed by Shinya Sugai.

  1. So we get this but not the rest of the Onimusha games ported to switch that everyone asked and even begged for?!
God how can capcom be this dumb, it’s as if they truly hate everything that isn’t MH (which is obviously now a macrotransaction cash grab), Street Fighter (which SF6 will definitely be riddled with monetization nonsense), and RE.
The way Capcom has been acting lately is exactly what everyone hated about them when they were doing on disc dlc.
Now I’m worried how Capcom will ruin Dragon’s Dogma 2.

    1. This will be made by Netflix with a contract through Capcom. They are not putting any resources into it.
As for remastering the other onimushas, they may be doing that. They may also have copyright issues as well since they are not rereleased on anything else either.
You are tossing stones without realizing all of this or the fact that you have no clue what they are really working on.
