The boxed-video game software charts have come through for the largest video game market in Europe, the United Kingdom, for the week ending 31st December, 2022. The best-selling video game during the tail end of 2022 was Sony Santa Monica’s God of War Ragnarok which presumably shot to No.1 due to an influx of PlayStation 5 hardware bundles around the Christmas period. All in all there were eight Nintendo Switch games in the top ten this week including Sonic Frontiers and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
